There were 16 of us at Wilson's Boathouse for lunch today. We were celebrating a lovely lady's birthday. There were only a few other people eating in the restaurant so we almost had the place to ourselves. The view was lovely and there was a nice breeze coming off the water through the open doors. A very relaxed atmosphere. The building and the decor and toilet facilities definitely need work to bring it up to a more acceptable standard for 'fine dining'. Everything is very casual especially the staff. They were very friendly but not very 'professional'. This is a very casual place to eat with fine dining prices. Food delicious, presentation casual. Having said this, we did enjoy a very relaxed and comfortable lunch and afternoon.
